“Kankhajura” is a Hindi crime thriller web series that premiered on SonyLIV on May 30, 2025. The series centers on Ashu (Roshan Mathew), a young man who is released from prison after serving 14 years for a murder he committed in his youth. However, Ashu’s manipulative nature, developed during his time in prison where he also served as a police informant (a “magpie”), soon begins to disrupt Max’s carefully constructed life and business.

As Ashu seeks his brother’s approval and tries to make amends for his past, his actions lead to a complex web of dark secrets, betrayals, and dangerous confrontations.
